The Collaborative serves children and youth, educators, schools and school districts, and communities. NEW: Student Records Coordinator DYS
Manage the collection, input, exchange and monitoring of records and student data; provide additional administrative support for the management team in the DYS educational initiative in Northampton. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MS Office and adept at learning new technologies; demonstrate ability to manage complex, detailed tasks; highly organized and an excellent communicator. Intermittent travel required.
NEW: The Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Senior Level DYS / SEIS
The Director will be responsible for strategically guiding all of the Collaborative’s efforts in the area of teaching and learning as part of our statewide partnerships with DYS and DESE. We are interested in candidates who are able to articulate a multi-year curriculum, instruction, and assessment strategic plan that spans both traditional and non-traditional approaches to education. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and experienced educational leader, dedicated to education, social justice, and improving outcomes for youth placed at risk. Minimum qualifications include advanced degree in education; MA Professional-level Educator License; demonstrated successful experience in curriculum, instruction and assessment with projects of comparable size and complexity, as outlined in full job description ; and proven success in partnering with multiple, diverse stakeholders. Travel required.
NEW: After School Program at Easthampton High School – Dance Instructor and Karate Instructor
Looking for two individuals to work in afterschool program at Easthampton High: Dance instructor experienced in multiple forms or genres and an experienced, qualified teacher of Martial Arts. Time commitment 2:00 – 4:00pm, one or two days week. $20/hr. Apply immediately.
Physical Therapist – part time/ 2 days a week
Massachusetts Registered/Licensed Physical Therapist, with experience in pediatrics and developmental disabilities preferred, needed to provide services to a variety of students in elementary and/or high school settings in Hampshire and Franklin Counties. Physical Therapy Assistant – part time/ 2 days a week
Teachers with classroom experience needed for computer-based, after-school, small-group tutoring with a focus on Math and ELA, for elementary and middle-school students. Good computer skills and knowledge of current curriculum a must! Supplemental Educational Services pay $30/hr, for up to 5 hours/week (Mondays-Thursdays), October – May. Tutors needed at schools throughout Western Mass, especially the following districts: Agawam, Easthampton, Gateway, Mohawk, Orange, Palmer, Pioneer Valley, Quaboag, Southwick, Ware, and Westfield. Submit preference for locations and MA Educator License number with resume and cover letter.

After School Program at Pepin/Center Schools, Easthampton, MA
Looking for experienced individuals to work in afterschool program with elementary age children (1st-4th grades) . Time commitment 2:45 PM-5:45 PM two or three days week. $20/hr. Must be able to guide children in developing positive relationships with others, project or problem-based learning, journaling, craft activities, service learning, and more. Must be team player. The Collaborative is hiring a licensed Special Education (Moderate Disabilities)Teacher, with a Mathematics license or background, to teach inclusion classes at a DMH facility in Tewksbury, MA. The teacher will develop and implement lesson plans; conduct lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles; plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned; and meet guidelines established in Individual Education Plans (IEP). Qualification requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree; current MA Special Education Teacher certificate, 5-12 Students with Moderate Disabilities preferred; Mathematics (9-12) license OR willingness to obtain the Mathematics (9-12) license within the two years after being hired. The teacher will develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of district's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required. Conduct lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles. Plan and uses appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned and meets guidelines established in Individual Education Plans (IEP). Cooperate with other members of the staff in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.
Qualification requirements include: Batchelor's degree; Current MA Special Education Teacher certificate, 5-12 Students with Moderate Disabilities preferred; Mathematics (9-12) license or willingness to obtain this license within two years of being hired. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Candidate must have completed all Category Trainings or is willing to complete in first year.

The Collaborative for Educational Services and the Holyoke Public Schools seek an experienced educatior (mininum 5 years of successful vocational technical education and Vocational Technical Supervisor/Director certification 9-14 preferred), to be an integral part of the administrative team for Dean Technical High School. Job duties of the Director include overseeing vocational-technical staff, promoting their professional growth and overall effectiveness; and conducting an annual review and revision of all vocational-technical offerings in the Program of Studies and recommending modifications, additions and deletions that ensure optimum learning opportunities for all students.
